Seonag Bauer

Seonag Bauer is a Certified Pilates Instructor, dancer, and dance teacher, who has been teaching Pilates in the greater Orange County area since 2002.  Teaching both private clients and group mat classes, Seonag’s approach to Pilates focuses on biometrics, alignment, and form.

After graduating from Cal State University – Long Beach with her B.F.A in dance, Seonag received her Pilates certification under Marie Jose at Long Beach Dance Conditioning.  She holds a specialized certificate for Pre and Postnatal Pilates work and has enjoyed working with her expecting clients throughout their pregnancies. In addition to having worked in the physical therapy setting, Seonag has taught Pilates at health clubs, in corporate wellness settings with companies such as Verizon Wireless and Taco Bell, and at the college level for Cal State Fullerton. 

Kristi Monson

Kristi Monson is a Certified Pilates Instructor, and aerial acrobat, who has been studying Pilates since 1996.  Kristi has a comprehensive knowledge of the body and has used that understanding to develop effective teaching strategies. Her philosophy is to perfect the body from the inside out: to strengthen muscles around properly aligned bones for optimal performance, injury prevention, and a stunning physique.

Kristi’s foundation is multi-faceted. She studied Pilates under prestigious mentors such as Karen Shanley, Marie Jose Blom-Lawrence, and Audrey Wilson, whose mentor was trained by Joseph Pilates himself.  She received her certification at Long Beach Dance Conditioning, where she learned many physical therapy protocols.  In addition to her formal Pilates training, Kristi has an eclectic array of athletic experience, including performing regularly as a professional Aerial Acrobat and vocalist in Cirque du Soleil’s official cast database.  Her background also includes dance performance and instruction, marathon running, martial arts, and contortion.  Kristi leads her clients through highly customized strength, flexibility, and stability training based on their unique strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Her keen understanding of biomechanics helps her clients achieve the maximum results in the least amount of time, while training the body to resist injury.
